Google - about 70,700,000 and Yahoo - about 170,000,000
of web pages for bible (as on 17th September 2005). It is growing
day by day.
Looking at these figures one can fathom how much Biblical
resources are available on the Internet. In my next article, I shall
provide details of few highly resourceful Christian web sites.
Gone are the days when our good old "Upadeshis"
used to go around and distribute tracts on gospel. Internet and
TV have taken up that job of distributing "E-tracts".
We must praise God for the new inventions of the mankind
and surely in the days to come, these electronic media will take
the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.
Jesus is "the missionary of the Father;"
and each Christian is his witness. Let his voice proclaim the gospel
through us as we bring the good news of salvation to the ends of
the earth.
Thousands of people around the world are coming to
a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Yet the stark reality remains: 1.7
billion people still have little or no access to the gospel message.
Hence let each one of us contribute our talents and
resources to make the Gospel reach those people. In this context,
I would quote from the Bible:
- Acts 1:8
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Yes, we are committed to taking the gospel to the
ends of the Earth
- The world needs the love of Christ!
GOD Bless you all.
