Choir

After its inception on April 3, 1970 the St. Peter's C.S.I Congregation has been assisted by its Choir in leading God's ministry in NECK. The Church choir has been led by various able and talented Choir Masters from time to time. As many of our Congregation members may recall these leaders have been Mr. G.P. John, Mr. K.K. Koshy, Mr. George Podippara Chacko, Mr. Varghese Koshy & Mr. Thomas Koshy. We have completed 34 years of glorious worship as a Congregation and the aforesaid Choir Masters have toiled a lot to bring up the Choir from its infancy. While Mr. G.P. John served only for a few years, Mr. K.K. Koshy served the Choir for many years and hence deserves the a lion's share of the credit from all of us.

It was Mr. Varghese Koshy & Mr. George Podippara Chacko, who actually re-started the Choir after the Liberation of Kuwait in 1991. Under their courageous leadership, we could form a new Choir, consisting mainly of new members both children and elders. It was during the year 1994-1995 that our Choir was provided with cassocks and surplices. We were lucky to have benevolent senior members, who voluntarily contributed the necessary lost tunes for the choir. Since then, we are wearing the proper costume for all our Holy Communion Services except on 4th Fridays.
