The second session was started with an opening prayer by
Rev.Itty Mathew.
Mr. P.V Abraham Convener of the event welcomed the gathering.
The meeting was presided by the Chairman of the meet Very
Rev. T. I George. Rt. Rev. Michael John made the inaugural
address. The key note address was given by Very Rev.Dr. T.
M. John.
During his Inspiring message he reminded that all of us are
pilgrims and tourists in this world. He brought out the similarity
between the Christian community in Kerala and the olden Jewish
community. Both were blessed abundantly by God because they
both had made synagogues or churches wherever they went and
worshiped Him.
A harmonious quartet was sung by Very Rev. Thomas Samuel,
V.Rev.T M John, Rev.Sam Samuel and Rev. Joseph Mathew. Rev.
Joseph Mathew blessed the audience with a Malayalam classical
song.Mr. P.V Abraham conducted some fancy games and a Bible
Quiz.
During the open discussion the participants actively participated
and following proposals were made:
1. Help to feed atleast 100 people a day program in Medical
College , Trivandrum.
2. Financial assistance to upgrade the fecilities in George
Mathen Hospital,Mallappally.
3. Start a mobile Evanjalism unit by our Congregation.
4. Publish a Directory of present and former members of St.Peter's
CSI Congregation, Kuwait.
5. Publish and circulate a News Letter of St. Peter's CSI
Congregation , Kuwait to its present and former members.
Rev.Abraham C. Prakash informed the meeting the sad demise
of Mr. Shaji George,the brother of Mr.Cyriac George. The meeting
unanimously extended it's condolences to the bereaved family
and Rt. Rev. Michael John led the prayer for the family.
Mr.Chandy Abraham proposed the vote of thanks and Rev.Abraham
C. Prakash concluded the meeting with a prayer at 2.00pm.
Lunch was served after the meeting.
