Sunday School

Children are participating very enthusiastically in singing sessions, prayer cum worship session and Bible classes conducted in the church and the parish hall. Birthdays of children are observed by special prayers on the third Friday of every month. Every year a Friday in November is observed as children’s day and the children take active part in the worship service by reading the Bible lessons, singing special songs and taking the offertory. In order to help the poor and needy children in India, a special cover collection is carried out on children’s day.

Our Sunday School gives the children opportunities to develop their God given talents and also to share their views and experiences with fellow students. As an encouragement for our children, the following Sunday School examinations are conducted annually and prizes are awarded:

Oral and written examinations, Bible story telling, Bible quiz, elocution and song competitions and prizes are also given for full attendance. Children also develop their talents by participating in Christmas and anniversary programs each year. In order to bid farewell to our senior most outgoing students, a special farewell meeting along with the Congregation is conducted and the children are provided with certificates and prizes. When the Sunday School session gets over in the summer, KUVBS (Kuwait United Vacation Bible School - Mar Thoma & C.S.I. together) starts in full swing and it is instrumental in bringing the children closer to Jesus and has led many to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
